(channel 19). Launch date is set for October 15.

Disney axes abc1 from Freeview.
From October abc1 will cease on Freeview.
Channel 4 reshuffles
its channels and removes Film Four + 1 to replace it with the new channel 4 + 1.
TCM: As of 10
April 2007, TCM (channel 25) will cease broadcasting and will only be available
on Top Up TV Anytime.
ITV Play (channel 31) has ceased and is for the
moment ITV2+1. ITV are mulling over the idea of turning this in to a movie
channel later on.
The Discovery Channel, Discovery
Real Time and the Cartoon Network have
ceased broadcasting on the old Top Up TV service and are now only available on
their Top Up TV Anytime service.
The Radio Music Shop has launched on channel 729
Ftn has dropped the quiz block and has returned to proper
programming. Ftn now shows programmes like The Crystal
Maze, Bulls eye, The Krypton Factor, Close To Home, The L Word etc.
Film4 +1 is now broadcasting on channel 32.
BBC Parliament is now full screen on channel 85.
Five Life (Channel 36) and Five US (Channel
35) have now launched.
BT Vision will start in November with a soft launch
and will follow up with the full media fuelled launch set for next year.
Setanta has confirmed that it has signed a deal to
be on the DTT platform (as a standalone subscription channel) showing live
premiership football next year.
UKTV Food (channel 29) has now ceased broadcasting.
TopUp Anytime1, 2, and 3 have appeared on the EPG (channels 38 - 40).
Discovery Real Time has moved to channel 42.
Boomerang (channel 73) has ceased broadcasting.
Top Up TV's website has updated to reflect its new 'Anytime' service.

Discovery Real Time (channel 28) will close on September 12 and start
again September 13 on channel 42.
Bloomberg (channel 84), Toonami (channel 74) and Red Hot
(channel 98) have ceased
broadcasting. If necessary rescan your box to remove them from the EPG.
Film4 has launched on channel 31.
Virgin Radio has launched on channel 727.
Channel Five's long awaited 2 new Freeview channels have been
confirmed. Launching in October will be 'Five US' (US import channel
broadcasting - 4pm - 1am)
and 'Five Life' (Female orientated channel broadcasting - 6am - 11pm).
Top Up TV Anytime. Top Up TV are releasing a new 'Anytime Digital TV Recorder'
in the Autumn which will download a selection of hand-picked programmes over night.
Anytime will probably commence in October as five reclaim two slots from Top Up
TV.
Top Up TV have announced the PVR to watch Anytime on. The dti6300-16.

Setanta is to launch a new subscription channel via Top Up TV to show its live English and Scottish Premier League matches.
Men and Motors has ceased broadcasting on Freeview to make way for
ITV Play. Men and motors is still available on Sky.
Channel 4 has signed a multi-million dollar deal with 20th Century Fox to buy the rights to a raft of hit movies including Ice Age 2, Robots, Kingdom of Heaven, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Fantastic Four and much
more.

In November BT will roll out what is expected to
become the biggest revolution in TV viewing since Satellite TV began:

capable of storing 80 hours of recorded TV and capable of delivering high-definition video
coupled with a Digital Terrestrial Receiver
(Freeview) and a Broadband Receiver (for On Demand films, sport, music, TV programmes,
adult content and Pay Per View events) and groundbreaking interactive and communications service, all available through
your TV set.
BT have confirmed Disney films including Pirate of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Memoirs of a Geisha
will be shown on BT Vision
BT have confirmed three new video-on-demand agreements with MTV, Paramount Comedy and Nickelodeon.
BT and Sky have won a joint bid for the 'nearly live' rights to the
2007/8-2010/11 premiership seasons. This will allow BT Vision broadband
customers to watch any of the football matches in full after 10pm the same day
they are played. (PPV basis on BT Vision and included in the subscription
price on Sky).
BT has announced that it has already signed up
BBC Worldwide, Paramount, Warner Music Group, National Geographic Channel,
Endemol and children's TV programming companies HIT Entertainment
and Nelvana as well as Entertainment Rights, Wall to Wall, Portman Film & TV
and NBDtv.
BT has also signed deals with music video content providers i-concerts and Eagle Rock and plans to offer more than 500 rock, pop and classical concerts and performances by some of the world's leading artists on BT Vision.
This will allow BT to compete directly with Sky and the Cable Companies. This will roll out nationwide and there is no commitment to a monthly subscription.
